The Reverso was originally made at the request of British officers: they wanted a watch with which they could play polo matches. The very first wristwatches were worn by women and Jaeger-LeCoultre, the watchmaker of watchmakers, was one of the first to use his know-how to create exceptionally small calibers that could be worn on the wrist.
