The Longines Master Collection Chrono Moonphase L2.962.4.73.6 was introduced in 2026 as part of the updated Master Collection. This automatic reference continues one of the collection’s most recognizable configurations, combining a chronograph, calendar indications, moon phase display, and the established barleycorn dial execution. The round stainless steel case is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with several layers of anti-reflective coating on both sides. Water resistance is rated to 3 bar, and the listed weight is 153.0 g.
The silver dial has a barleycorn pattern, applied Arabic numerals, and blued steel hands. Its calendar and chronograph layout gives the watch the dense, symmetrical appearance long associated with this part of the Master Collection. The dial shows central hours and minutes, small seconds with a 24-hour indication at 9 o’clock, a moon phase display at 6 o’clock, and a pointer date indicated by a central half-moon hand.
Inside is the Longines caliber L687.5, a self-winding mechanical movement based on the Valjoux 7751 architecture. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of up to 66 hours.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet with a triple safety folding clasp, push-piece opening mechanism, and fine adjustment system.
