The Vanguard™ Sfumato Slim draws its inspiration from Renaissance art. Sfumato, meaning “vanished” or “softened” in Italian, is a technique used by renowned painters to create a sense of depth and atmosphere through subtle gradations of tone and colour, avoiding harsh lines. Much like a vignette in classic film, where the edges darken to guide the eye inward, the dial’s fading tones invite quiet focus and contemplation.
